Ooh La La! Fancy.

Today, we practiced our knife skills and garnishing/plating skills.  We used an array of knives and knife cuts to make delicious, mouth-watering bruschetta as an appetizer and jumped straight to dessert by garnishing a simple scoop of vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce and fresh raspberries.  We made it into a competition where each group had to present one plate and then the whole class voted on the best as far as visual appeal.  Check out our attention to detail!
